Wading through the implementation of AI is a bit like asking a blind man to walk through a minefield. One only has to work through the EUs AI Act, digest ISO 42001 and consider the governance necessary to manage data, cybersecurity and AI to consider the challenges ahead. These are before one can address the challenges associated with the lack of resources across all three fields. To think that Ai is going to boost growth, reduce admin and fix all our ills is folly, supercomputers require power, AI requires power, AI requires clearly defined and articulated problems to solve. As published last week, the European Confederation of Internal Audits (ECIIA) paper on compliance to the EU AI Act presents the basics of AI compliance. Compliance that any AI project or program should consider. https://lnkd.in/ejxX5b3f.Last week the US FDA made clear the cybersecurity needed to address data poisoning, model inversion and evasion, data leakage, overfitting, model bias and performance drifting.https://lnkd.in/ePRW_be2AI is useful and can deliver benefits. However AI fits within a broader strategy of data, security and AI. Its equally likely to impede growth as it is to boost growth.@Thaddeus Dziekanowski Brian D.
