There’s one defense requirement the UK government should have adopted 7 years ago. The DoD added DFARS 252.204-70l2 to defense contracts from 2017. Requiring covered defense contractors comply to cybersecurity under contract with the DoD. At risk of penalties, including Contract removal. The UK got a special mention in a draft NDAA for its failure to manage defense cyber.

One wonders how the UK will meet existing commitments let alone demonstrate adequate funding for new commitments.
