You don’t need a crystal ball to predict the future of cyber attacks on the UK. What you do need is a cybersecurity risk management strategy and the necessary skilled and experienced resources to implement one.
The UK Public sector, like all public sector organisations, is vulnerable to cyber attack. One only has to examine the number of cyber attacks against the health sectors in the U.S and EU, and their suppliers; the under investment in cybersecurity and the maturity of cybersecurity risk management to be concerned.
