The Australian Government has identified a Russian national as being responsible for the Medibank. Imposing targeted financial sanctions and a travel ban on Alksandr Ermakov.

Making it a criminal offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonments and fines, to use of deal with his assets or provide him with assets.
