The investigation was sparked by a Whistleblower report from a former employee of the company and covers the period 2011 to 2021. The settlement is one of the largest procurement fraud settlements in history and demonstrates that the DoJ is serious about pursuing allegations of wrong doing to U.S taxpayers by Federal Contractors. With the Whistleblower receiving nearly $70million, its also a nice little earner for those that seek fair and equitable procurement for Federal Agencies.
