Very concerning, this will likely be hunting for a needle in a haystack, the U.S has procured Chinese power and communications equipment for many years. For CNI where one suspects there is little redundancy.

It begs a question, given the UKs and EUs relationships with China. Are they equally susptable to the problem of maliciouse code in their power and communications networks.

The recent proposals from U.S regulators requiring a detailed Software Bill of Materials for companies supplying Federal Agencies may not sounds like a bad thing.
