A nice article from the WSJ on the cyber regulation from the 1st March that U.S, EU and APC boards should be concerned about. There are a few additional regulations that also need to be considered including the Bidden Harris White House ONCD strategy, the EU Digital Operational Risk Act (DORA), The EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the SEC cybersecurity risk management Proposal and the rapidly developments in Australia’ cybersecurity regulatory posture.
Cyber regulation is developing across a several jurisdictions, that are being underpinned by regulatory enforcement programs.
Cyber is no longer a FUD debate, it is being taken seriously by regulators with deep pockets and a will to enforce compliance (Uber CSO, Drizzly).
