A great article bringing together cyber regulations that will impact the medical device industry. Including EU NIST 2 and the SEC proposal. Add to this the Law passed by the U.S 2023 Consolidate Appropriations Act for Medical Device Cybersecurity, then cyber is likely to be a hot compliance topic for the medical device industry from 2023.

One wonders the legal and insurance implications if device cybersecurity is cited as a reason that affected patient safety?
