Thank you Shaun van Niekerk, CISSP. It was an important event and helped highlight the challenges that the EU faces with cybersecurity regulation, harmonisation and regulation. We cannot forget that the EU alone is a group of 27 countries that seeks internal harmonisation among its member states.

As both the U.S and EU develop and implement cybersecurity risk management regulation, we have to ensure international harmonisation and standardization of regulations and standards. Without which there will be a significant geopolitical impact on across national security, international trade and legal risk.
