Is the involvement of China in public and private sector projects in the West an issue? As Canada Canadas Official Opposition calls for the federal government to ban research partnerships with Chinese military scientists. As it was announced that 50 universities have conducted research with Chinas military since 2005.

It’s won’t be the first to address the role of China within the public and private sector. In 2022 the U.S President signed an Executive Order strengthening the Committee on Foreign Investment, to consider acquisitions involve the purchase of a business with access to Americans’ sensitive data, and whether a foreign company or government could exploit that information.

One suspects that all members of the 5 eye community may now be examining public and private sector relationships with China?
