It’s positive, the U.S announcing that it has hacked back against the Hive network, and preventing considerable damage to those organisations the group were targeting. Reducing the affect of the attack has to be a good thing and sends a clear message that authorities with the financial backing and resources can make an impact and hack back.

I fear though its will be a game of cat and mouse, with similarities to the drugs trade, but significantly worst. As Russian organisations fight over its Dark Web and create market places that today are ‘off limits’ to the West. It will continue to be a haven for digital transactions and crime for sometime to come.
