Call us now:
Lindy Cameron, CEO of the UKs National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) gives an important speech in Tel Aviv on cybersecurity. The current Ukraine Russia crisis and the role of cybersecurity, the importance of collaboration in cyberspace to counter the threat of cyber attacks and the threat of ransomware.
With many nation states now actively working to regulate cyber security defence across industry, including Israel, the U.S and EU the UK. The UK as a nation working on the international stage should adopt a position for cybersecurity risk management legislation. If it wishes to trade with its international partners, share commercial data and demonstrate to threat actors that the UK is not a weak link in commercial cyber defence.
Before the UK’s international partners impose regulations and cybersecurity standards on our companies that are more advanced than our own. That will set the cyber standards and regulations companies have to follow to trade outside of the UK.
Israel’s own cyber Defense Methodology (ICDM) (https://lnkd.in/esm5p26P).
Another example is Australia. That is moving rapidly ahead with cyber legislation and cyber standards that are aligned to those adopted by Israel and the U.S. The Australian Prudential Regulatory Authorities cyber strategy is well worth reading. Or the ACSC Information Security manual (https://lnkd.in/eRXuN_iG).
