The European Central Bank (ECB) is warning EU banks to prepare for Russian state sponsored cyber attacks ahead of the recent tensions between East and West. I do hope that tension can be deescalated over the coming weeks.

Financial infrastructure is very complex. State sponsored attackers are notoriously good, I am sure that the appropriate defences are in place. However it is not the way I would like to find out if the banks cybersecurity program is effective and the incident response plans are in place.
