Cybersecurity standards for critical industries, now there’s a thought?

Aligned with a SoC 2 assessment cybersecurity standards (profiles) would provide a method for the oversight and assurance of cybersecurity for critical industry, all industries for that matter. With the very real benefit that it can be applied internationally, using a readily available pool of qualified assessors.

If tied to Federal incentives it could be used to effect cyber change for Small Business.
