OT not affected, corporate network hacked and staff walking the line to check it had not been damaged. With $1.5B spent on maintaining line integrity and $200M spent on IT, that would equate to about $20m on cyber, $4.4M on ransomware. I wonder what the cost to the US economy has been greater than $1.7bn?
Cyber is the biggest risk we face. Attacks will only get bigger as they become more sophisticated and expensive if boards are not reminded of their fiduciary responsibilities. We may remember the Colonial brand name for some time to come, as the law suits start and questions get raised on the impact of the hack on commodity markets?
