The recent statement from the Australian Prime Minister about the threat his country faced from Cyber. may have highlighted the need to spend more money on cyber across the country. This looks like its been answered with a proposal to spend $748Mn and a reallocation of defence resources to focus on the subject.

The proposed spend will support the country better prepare and focus and disrupt cyber threats and help address the cyber skills gaps which all countries face.
