Is the Honda cyber attack reported this week broader and deeper than reported? With an inventory of Honda’s assets being posted on-line. With some assets RDP publicly enabled.
The threat vector is thought to be the SNAKE Ransomware, which has been coded to take advantage of Industrial Control Systems (OT). If this is the case for Honda and the ransomware is deeply embedded into its infrastructure it has the potential to cut across both business and OT environments.
