The US Army’s cyber command will re-brand itself as the ‘Army Information Warfare Command’. Whilst it’s not earth shattering news, it sets out a position that the primary aim of this branch of the military is about securing information and data. With the aim of embedding electronic warfare and information security professionals across the US army. But like the rest of us their only challenge following recent reports, is finding the skilled resource to deploy.

The core of what logical security professionals do is securing critical IP and today’s society this is invariably electronic information and data.
