Following nearly 3 years as the VP of Cyber, Technology and BCM risk for Grupo Santander. Commuting to Madrid weekly. I have made the difficult decision to leave the group to spend more time closer to my family.
It has been a distinct pleasure to be the first person to have designed and delivered the groups dedicated 2nd Line of Defense cyber risk function. I’ve been very fortunate to have worked with talented, dedicated and passionate people across 4 continents. Advising and supporting the banks leadership teams and Chief Risk Officers (CRO). Increasing board oversight, improving cyber risk awareness and education for such an important, and critical risk.
