Why Intellectual Property and data are inextricably linked. Are you playing Russian roulette with your crown jewels?
In today’s digital economy, corporate intellectual property will invariably be digital and more and more incidents of cyber related losses are being reported.
Therefore I ask, are boards aware which digital content within their business is important and which is not. Can boards define their digital crown jewels, do they know who has access to them and what would be the impact to the balance sheet should it go missing, or be destroyed?
