The CRA implements a barrier to market entry that tech enabled vendors needs to overcome. The U.S is adopting a similar stance, so to of the worlds largest markets appear to be following a similar route.

Its not a barrier that is being implemented for its sake, it is being implemented to enable secure products and services that starts on the drawing board through to product end of life.
