As always thank you for posting Olaf Classen. This report is a further example of the art of possible, and potentially art of the probable, as cyber supply chain hacks increase in popularity.

It is no longer the case that hackers do not have the capabilities to effect digital products and services in supply chains. You only have to inject the right code into hardware or software as part of the product build process. One only has to look at the SolarWinds hack or the risk associated with attacks on cloud providers to recognise that supply chain and concentration risks are a real threat. With cloud being a favorite threat vector, one asks the question of the effect of a cloud intrusion and the consequences on the OEM market.

Gerry Kennedy this a subject that I know is close to your heart. What is the impact on the insurance and automotive industry should an attack make its way through to vehicles.
