$320 million in stolen crypto funds have been replaced by Jump trading following last weeks hack. I have asked this question before, where do you get the crypto from to replace the lost funds and who accounts for the loss? It is a very altruistic approach to take, but its a significant amount of digital currency.

Also if $10 million was offered as a ‘bug bounty’ to recoup the lost currency, how would that sit with the DoTs OFAC rules? Or is the bug bounty an approach to get around OFAC?

All thoughts welcome.
