The US builds a considerable team to work on cyber security. but one critic is that it is heavily biased toward public sector appointment with little commercial sector experience.

Balancing public and private sector experience will be important to ensure that cyber is managed effectively. If government fails to address cyber, the commercial sector pays a heavy price. If the private sector fails to address cyber security government picks up the pieces.

It’s a balancing act where both sides need to work together to address the problem. As the recent Federal hack has shown.
